R Vallecano 1 – 0 Barcelona

Barcelona collapsed in their fourth defeat in six games when Radamel Falcao’s goal gave Rayo Vallecano a 1-0 win that put more pressure on Ronald Koeman.

Koeman’s side are ninth in La Liga after winning just four of their 10 games, and have conceded a first-half goal from former Man Utd and Chelsea striker Falcao in Madrid.

Memphis Depay also missed a penalty for Barcelona in the 72nd minute, aggravating Koeman’s situation.

Following Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in El Clasico, footage posted on social media showed Koeman’s car surrounded by fans as he drove away from Camp Nou.

In response, Barcelona posted a statement on their official Twitter account which read: “Barcelona publicly condemns the violent and disdainful acts our manager suffered when he left Camp Nou.

“The club will take safety and disciplinary measures so that such unfortunate events do not happen again.”
